After catching the el’ cheapo matinée showing of Ratatouille I had been thoroughly impressed with the overall quality of this movie. After not losing my interest in the first few minutes, Ratatouille invoked both a sense of astonishment and surprise.

The protagonist Remy is understandable. Remy strives to become a chef, after his role model, the late chef Gusteau. Even though he may be a rat he doesn’t let this get in his way of becoming a master chef.

Straying from boring old typical plot mechanics Ratatouille is a surprising work of art. Worthy of Pixar’s reputation, worthy of your attention and of my 4.5 stars (out of five.)

Ratatouille is a must see but does leave me wondering how long did it take to render this?!
